Sales Activator Toolkit

The toolkit is an interactive fun and engaging board style game which delivers a comprehensive coaching system with over 70 hour of sales training session that can be delivered in bite-sized chunks by Sales and Service Managers or in-house trainers. The two games; The Selling Game and the Trynamic game focus on developing consultative selling expertise and managing sales activities to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of your sales process. Endorsed by the ISSM and UPSA, and developed on the back of global research with business leaders, The Sales Activator toolkit guarantees a proven minimum of 15% uplift in sales revenues and significant reduction in the cost of sales when implemented and delivered consistently.

How it works

Managers or Trainers play the board game with their teams during sales or service team meetings to identify on a per team and per individual basis, the gaps in knowledge in the Sales process consultative sale or sales through service competencies. During game play the Manager or Trainer has access to the coaching cards which identify what best practice is in that activity or competency along with exercises that can be used later to refresh and uplift those who need it. If the whole team need the development need then the Manager or Trainer can run the exercises in a bite sized session for the whole team, or use the coaching cards in a 1-2-1 targeted coaching session for that individual.

All games encourage the sharing of best practice and accelerated learning across the team during a high energy, fun, gaming session.  Commonly encountered tricky situations are highlighted and solutions formulated during the game play, so the sessions are highly productive and team members learn whilst having fun.

Once established as a part of business as usual, other team members can choose to take the lead as the games master and run the gaming session. All the answers to the questions asked are on the game cards and therefore the games master will always know what best practice is, providing consistency. To maximise the time available to the Manager, they may chose to give the specific coaching cards to the individuals who require the uplift and ask them to go away, learn the content and either present back to the team at a later stage or to the Manager during a 1-2-1 to evidence that the learning has been taken on board, thus freeing up the Manager to work on other business imperatives. This approach encourages self learning and empowers the team members by raising profiles and developing Talent as well as retaining the learning and uplifted performance of the team and its members.
