Getting started with The Sales Activator®
When you receive your copy of The Sales Activator®, you may find it useful to read through the following quick-start guidelines.
Getting Started
- Open the box and locate the Team Leader Guide. Read this first to give you an overview of all the resources.
- Watch the Video Demonstration Tutorial supplied on the CD (25 minutes in duration) to observe the resources being used in a simulated 'live' situation.
- Read through each of the Suggestion Cards (62 in total). These are mini-sales coaching sessions that you can run with your team. You'll notice at the bottom of each card there is a team exercise that helps your team to apply the coaching suggestion into their day-to-day job role.
- Layout the resources for The Trynamic Sales Process Game™
- Game board (assembles together using 4 jigsaw pieces to create triangular shaped board)
- Three bags of 'people' markers in white, black and silver
- Question cards: Leads, Prospects, Ongoing Discussions, Customers
- Challenge cards
- Pyramidal dice
- Rules of Play Booklet
- Read through the Rules of Play Booklet to familiarise yourself with basic rules when running this game.
- Read through each of the Question Cards and sort them into a priority ranking based on the key areas you want to cover with your team. (The cards you place at the top of each pile should contain the questions you want to ask your team first).
- Layout the resources for The Selling Game™
- Game board (use the reverse side of The Trynamic Sales Process Game™ board)
- Three x team pyramidal markers in white, black and silver
- Question cards: Preparing Yourself For Success, Relationship Building, Understanding Customer Requirements, Fulfilling Customer Requirements, Negotiating for Win-Win Outcomes, Handling Objections and Closing, Situation, Opportunity
- Score pad
- Pyramidal dice (same one as used for The Trynamic Sales Process Game™)
- Rules of Play Booklet
- Read through the Rules of Play Booklet to familiarise yourself with the basic rules when running the game. Read through each of the Question Cards and sort them into a priority ranking based on the key areas you want to cover with your team. (The cards you place at the top of each pile should contain the questions you want to ask your team first).
- Decide which game you want to run with your team first.
- Decide which Suggestion Card you want to introduce to your team first.
- Allocate time in your next sales meeting to run your chosen game and Suggestion Card.
