Q. How do I know whether The Sales Activator® is right for me in my organisation?

A. If you have sales people who are predominantly involved in field based sales and are responsible for winning and maintaining customers, then The Sales Activator® will be an extremely useful tool for you and your team. It has been designed for use during sales meetings, so if you currently hold monthly meetings then you'll have the opportunity to use The Sales Activator® on a regular basis.

Q. When you say that The Sales Activator® is for salespeople, can you be more specific?

A. Salespeople who are involved in face-to-face sales and who are responsible for winning new customers as well as managing existing customers. The Sales Activator® can benefit major and key account salespeople irrespective of the product and/or service they sell. The Sales Activator® is not suitable for telesales professionals or salespeople who work in a retail environment.

Q. Where has the content been generated from?

A. The content has been created from proven sales practices and globally recognised methods, covering the whole spectrum of the sales process and provides a balanced approach for salespeople. In the unlikely event that one of the methods is not compatible with the method your organisation follows then you can select an alternative method from the variety of resources contained within The Sales Activator®

Q. What do I actually get when I buy a Sales Activator®?

A. You will receive a box supplied in a carry case, containing the following:

  • The Trynamic Sales Game that covers new business activities. The resources include a game board, 64 question cards, team markers and a rules of play booklet
  • The Selling Game that covers the steps in a consultative sales process. The resources include a game board, 128 question cards, team markers, dice, score-sheets and a rules of play booklet
  • 62 sales coaching sessions provided on separate Suggestion Cards. Each card details an exercise you can run with your team
  • Team Leaders Guide to explain how to use the resources
  • Video demonstration tutorial supplied on a CD that shows you the way the resources can be used

The above resources equates to approximately 70 hours of sales team development time that can be re-used as many times as required.

Q. Do I need to have a knowledge about training to use The Sales Activator®?

A. No. The Sales Activator® is very easy to use and has been specifically designed for Sales Managers to use without any training experience. There is a guide and a video demonstration tutorial contained within each toolkit as well as Rules of Play booklets for both of the board games.

Q. How much preparation time is required before using The Sales Activator®?

A. Once you have reviewed the content within The Sales Activator® it will only take you about 5-10 minutes to prepare for each Sales Activator® session you run. Initially you may want to allocate an hour to familiarise yourself with all of the resources.

Q. How often should I use The Sales Activator®?

A. To optimise the positive impact you can gain from The Sales Activator® we recommend that you use it for about 45 - 60 minutes during every sales meeting. This provides your team with regular development and gives them the opportunity to put into practice what they learn during each meeting.

Q. What type of results can I expect from using The Sales Activator®?

Q. What support do I receive once I've purchased a Sales Activator®?

A. You can view the 'Getting started' guidelines on this site. There is also a comprehensive Team Leader Guide and a video demonstration tutorial (supplied as a CD) contained within The Sales Activator®. Our support team are available to provide answers to any questions you may have and can be contacted by email.

Q. Is there a set sequence that I have to follow when using the resources in The Sales Activator®?

A. No. The Sales Activator® contains an extensive variety of resources covering over 70 hours of sales development. These resources are packaged into bite-sized chunks enabling you to select the topic that is most relevant to your team at any given moment. Therefore, you decide upon the order in which you use the resources based on your own team's development requirements.

Q. What if I buy one and then decide that it's not for me?

A. If you are not totally satisfied with The Sales Activator® then you can return it to us within 30 days and we will refund your payment in full, excluding delivery charges - no questions asked. All we do request is that you return The Sales Activator® in the same condition that you received it in.

Q. How long will the delivery time be?

A. All orders will be despatched within 4 days from receipt of payment and you should allow an additional 5 days depending on the country we are delivering to. Currently our global average delivery time is within 7 days.

Q. Ideally how much time should I allocate during my sales meetings for using The Sales Activator®?

A. Usually we recommend that you allocate between 45 - 60 minutes for Sales Activator® sessions. Because The Sales Activator® is so flexible you can allocate the time based on your own requirements.

Q. I'm a sales trainer, would The Sales Activator® be something I could use in my sales training programmes?

A. Yes. The 2 board games can be used as a fun way of summarising key learning points at the end of your course. The 62 sales coaching cards each contain an exercise that trainers can incorporate into their existing programmes to promote discussion and stimulate thinking.
